Dan C. Sutherland

Dan C. Sutherland, age 68 of Carleton, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021 at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor. Born September 24, 1952, Dan was the son of Harry and Arvella (Baker) Sutherland. He was married to Sherry L. Frank on September 5, 1991. Dan worked for DT&I Railroad for over 43 years, retiring in 2013. He had a passion for motorcycles and enjoyed fishing, hunting, baseball and softball. Dan valued his friends and his friends valued him. Dan is survived by Sherry, his wife of the past 29 years; his brothers: Thomas (Colleen) Sutherland and Russell (Pam) Sutherland; as well as three nephews: Ian Sutherland, Aaron Sutherland, Dean Sutherland and a niece Charity Sutherland. Sadly he was preceded in death by his parents.
