Dar Babik

Dar Babik, age 74 of Dearborn, was born on November 2, 1949 in Dearborn, Michigan. She passed away on May 12, 2024 after a short illness. She was the beloved partner of 42 years to George Shuster.

Loving mother to Kimberly (Philip) Plumb and Jason (Jenny) Babik. Dear sister to Karen LaRowe and Matthew LaRowe.

Dar also leaves behind 6 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews to cherish her memory.

She loved all things Disney, Manatees, Detroit Red Wings and to travel. Surpassing all of that was the love she had for her family.

At her family’s request and in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her honor to Disabled American Veterans or American Diabetes Association.
