Varney, Donna Jean. Age 66 of Grosse Ile. Donna was born March 6, 1948 in Detroit, Michigan and died on March 4, 2015 at her home on Grosse Ile. Beloved mother of Teresa (John) Cronk and Charles Varney (Cindy Herman). Dearest sister of Daniel (the late Joy) Zanon. Dearest aunt of Lisa (Jay) Frucci, Jim (Tina) Fields, Mark( Shari) Fields, Amy (Aaron) Gryzemkowski, Megan Moore, Daniel (Leigh) Moore, Ryan Lawson, Blane Garret, Emily (Mark) Smith, Lucas Varney and Alex Varney. Sister-in-law to Jim (Anita) Fields, Naomi (Bill) Garret, Sandy (Daniel) Moore, Ben (Kathy) Varney and Stephanie (Bill) Lawson. Also survived by other loving family and friends. She will be missed by her cat Buddy. Donna's love of cooking and baking will be missed by all. Memorial contributions to honor Donna's life may be made any way the donor chooses.
