Dr. Byron Georgeson, Family Practice Physician, of Farmington Hills and Charlevoix, passed away September 2, 2022, age 90.
Byron can be described as a Renaissance man. A member of Mensa and Intertel, he was often referred to as “The Professor”. Byron was a lifelong learner of art, culture, philosophy, world history, opera and classical music. In retirement, he spent his time reading, gardening, cheering on the Michigan Wolverines and cooking Greek specialties for eager family and friends. He loved to travel, especially back to Greece, and was very proud of his Greek heritage. Byron was a remarkable man with an infectious laugh. His extensive knowledge and keen wit impacted everyone he met.
Byron will be sorely missed by his wife of 38 years, Marilyn Georgeson. Sons: Joseph (Sherrie) McNutt, Darrell Zeldes (Susan Penoyar) and daughters: Shari (Dr. Mark) Kalt and Wendy Zeldes (Matt Boyd). Proud Papou to Paul Georgeson, Angela Georgeson, Amanda Kalt, Marley Kalt, Sydney Zeldes, Madeline Zeldes, Jacob Boyd, Andrew Boyd, Paige McNutt, Delaney McNutt, Keira McNutt, Dylan Montie and Brendan Montie.
