Gary Michael Gornick

Born in Monroe, Gary was the son of Michael & Florence (Collyer) Gornick. He married the love of his life, Janet Ward, on September 30, 1968. Gary worked for over 44 years with the Railroad: DT & I, Grand Trunk, and finally Canadian National Railroad, retiring in 2009. In addition to spending time with his family, Gary truly enjoyed Motorcycle Riding. Gary leaves to cherish his memory, Janet, his wife of the past 44 years; his children: Patricia (Scott) Kivi of Dexter, Michael (Myra) Gornick of Douglasville, Georgia and Mark (Patti) Gornick of Brownstown; five grandchildren: Kaitlyn Kivi, Rebecca Kivi, Megan Gornick, Mitchell Gornick and Brian Gornick; as well as a brother Larry Gornick of Houston, Texas; two sisters Nancy Bussard of Carleton and Mary (Larry) Wanca of Newport; and his two best friends: Glenn Datson of Wyandotte and Jack Meyers of Clarkrange, Tennessee.
