Helen E. Lara

Lara, Helen E. Age 78. January 25, 2013 of Melvindale. Beloved mom of Deanean Lara and Dean (Diane) Lara. Proud grandma of Viba, Dominique, Miguel, Megan, Brittany and Nickolas. Also survived by one sister Katherine VanPoperin, three brothers George (Shirley), Socratis and Edward (Terry) Bardallis as well as other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Ada (nee: Payton) Bardallis. Earlier in Helen's life she enjoyed working with stained glass. She loved flower gardening and will be remembered for her feisty, sassy and energetic personality. Memorial contributions to honor her memory may be made to the donor's choice.
