Ina Asher

Ina was born on July 25, 1931 in Pineville, Kentucky and died on October 4, 2017 at her home in Taylor at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Billy. Loving mom of Mike (Jeanette "Smokie") Asher, and Judy (Scott) Meyers. Proud grandma of David Asher, Jennifer (Robert) Meyers-Norman, Scott, Jr. (Nicole), Stephanie Meyers (Alex Poupard) and Nicole Ann Meyers. Great grandma of Vanessa, Robert Lee, the late Kirsten Inalee, Hunter, Emily, Alexis and Kaelyn. Also survived by other loving family and friends. Preceded in death by her parents Matt and Lelia (nee: Lamb) Cornelius, seven brothers and her late daughter Trudy Kay Asher. Ina enjoyed feeding birds, squirrels and cats every day. Ina was known for saying, "turn a light on so you can see". Visitation is Monday, October 9, 2017 from 3 – 9 pm at The Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd. (Corner of Goddard). Funeral service Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at 11 am at the funeral home. Interment Knollwood Cemetery in Canton. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
