Jenny V. Connor

Connor, Jenny V. (nee: Tomsic). Age 82 of Southgate, MI. Formerly of Eckhart Mines, MD. Died May 12, 2010 of natural causes. Born Oct. 8, 1927 in Eckhart, MD, she was the daughter of the late Anton and Jennie Tomsic. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Anthony Tomsic. She is survived by her husband William "Bill" Connor, also formerly of Eckhart Mines, MD, two daughters, Sandra (Larry) Michaels of Hagerstown, MD and Debra (David) McCulloch of Southgate, MI; two sons, James (Elaine) Shrewsburg of Southgate, MI and Keith (Patti) Shrewsburg of Angola, IN; two step-daughters, Karen Kabala of Wyandotte, MI and Marla (Aldo) Colapietro of Romulus, MI; one step-son Larry (Susan) Connor of FL; ten grandchildren Gregg (Lisa) Michaels, Bryan (Tammy) Michaels, Doug Michaels, Karen Michaels, David and Kyle McCulloch, Tim (Andrea) Shrewsburg, Jennifer (Chris) Ottney, Michelle Alvord and Michael (Delora) Shrewsburg; two step-grandchildren Tammy Walter and Larry (Tiffany) Connor, Jr.; seven great grandchildren; Ashley, Garrett, Brett, Alec, Caroline Michaels, Megan and Hallie Shrewsburg. She is also survived by niece Vanessa Mannick and family and nephew Craig Tomsic and family. Jenny was an avid ballroom dancer, enjoyed watercolor painting and making jewelry. She loved gardening and her retirement years in FL. She was cremated and interment will be private at the Saint Michaels Cemetery, Frostburg, MD.
