Joseph Gerrard Heaney age 67 of Southgate.

Beloved husband of Linda for 40 years. Loving father of Keri (Anthony) Batalucco and Mitchell (Jennifer) Heaney. Proud grandfather of Lia & Ryan Batalucco and Grace & Joseph Heaney. Survived by his siblings Michael Heaney, Mary (Steve) Simpson, Maureen Hitzler, Kathleen (Thomas) Flynn, Dennis (Carmen) Heaney, Brenda (Mark) Welch, Dermot (Manuela) Heaney, Kevin (Julie) Heaney and Patrick (Debra) Heaney. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and many, many friends. Preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Mary Heaney.

Joe was a tugboat captain for 50 years. He will be deeply missed by everyone that knew him.
