Leonard C. Mahoney

Mahoney, Leonard Clement, age 90 of Riverview, Michigan, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2007. Leonard was born in Tweed, Ontario, Canada on November 6, 1916, son of George and Amelia LaBarge Mahoney. He emigrated to the U.S. after World War II and became a citizen in 1950. Leonard was preceded in death by his parents and 9 brothers and sisters. He is survived by his sister Eileen of Belleville, Ontario. He is the loving father of Judy Freeman Walker (Tom) of East Grand Rapids, Charlene Konarske of Riverview, Pamela Ratelle of Southgate, Sally Jo Mahoney of Grand Rapids and Len (Alice) Mahoney of Southgate. He was the husband of many years to Catherine Mahoney of Southgate. Leonard received much joy from his eleven grandchildren, Jennifer, Ryan, Natalie, Stephen, Ashley, Mike, Matthew, Kara, Nicki, Brian and Lenny and five great-grandchildren, Vincent, Hailey, Olivia, Allyson and Lauren. Leonard retired from Monsanto - Solutia after 35 years of service. He served in the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War II.
