Mr. Walter V. Downey
Born in Detroit, Walter was the son of Vincent & Christina (Brown) Downey. He married Martha Donnelly on October 11, 1958. An Army Veteran, Walter worked for over 34 years for United Parcel Service, retiring in 1991. Beloved husband of Martha. Dearest father of Terry (Larry) Bajorek, Carole Mull, Thomas (Melissa) Downey and Robert Downey. Loving grandfather to Kara (deceased), Julie, Sarah, Riley, Emily, Lauren and great grandson Carter. Also leaves brothers and sisters: Clotilde (Joseph) Tucker, Patrick (Gloria) Downey, Isobel Barber and John (Patricia) Downey.
