Mrs Viola A. Gasper

Viola A. Gasper, age 88, of Maybee, MI passed away in her home November 14, 2013. Viola was a life time resident of Maybee, she married George Gasper June 8, 1946 at St Joseph Catholic Church Maybee, sadly he preceded her in death on December 7, 2010. Viola was a life member of St Joseph Catholic Church Maybee, Christian Ladies Society and St Anne Guild. She drove bus for Monroe Public Schools for 18 years retiring in 1986 and helped her family on the farm. Viola is survived by her children, Alan (Susan) Gasper of Monroe, David Gasper of Maybee, Paul (Kimberly) Gasper of Traverse City, Diane (Keith) Sweet of Maybee and Dorothy Owens of Maybee; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sister, Leona Brant of Maybee. She was preceded in death by her parents; Frank and Mary (Lewan) Hess; husband, George; grandchildren Keith L Sweet and Jason J. Sweet; siblings, Charles Hess, Ralph Hess, Lucille Zink, Helen Lie, Elizabeth LaBeau, Marie Blessing and Louise Mazur.
