Patricia Ann George was born on July 10, 1947 in Detroit to her parents Robert and Margaret Cheapon (Guesman) and passed away on September 14, 2015 at her home in Dearborn Heights. Patricia married the love of her life, Victor George, on September 10, 1966 at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Melvindale. They just celebrated 49 years of marriage together. The couple made their home in Dearborn Heights and they were blessed with two children, Christine and Victor. The family moved to Brownstown in 1972 and to Trenton in 1986 before making their way back to Dearborn Heights. Patricia was a very dedicated wife and mother, who always put her family first. She loved making homemade chocolates and cakes that her family got to enjoy. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her. Patricia is the beloved wife of 49 years to Victor. Dear mother of Christine (Kevin) Carroll and Victor George. Proud grandmother of Amanda and Craig Carroll. Sister of Beverly Chapman. Patricia is also survived by other loving family and friends. Visitation will be held at the Allen Park Chapel of the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd. on Friday from 2 to 9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at the funeral home at 10 am. Interment at Our Lady of Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
