Gerwig, Paul Leon, age 76, September 30, 2007 of Grosse Ile. Beloved husband of Ruth for 55 years. Loving father of Jeffrey (Nancy) and Bradley (Renel). Dearest grandfather of Emma, Cailin, Bryan, Brandon, Brent, Phillip and Julie. Mr. Gerwig grew up in Ohio and was an Ohio State Patrolman for 14 years before moving to Grosse Ile in 1966. He worked for Ford Motor Company and retired after 25 years or service.
