Shirley J. Head

Shirley Jane Head of Southgate, Michigan passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2023 at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Harold “Jim” Head. Loving mother of David M. (Julie Taylor) Head and Gregory (Nancy) Head. Cherished grandmother of Nicole, Tabitha, Travis, Danielle, Brian and Christina. Dearest great-grandmother of Destiny, Alize, Dominque, Briella, Colton, Myla and Roderick. Dear great-great-grandmother of Dior. Caring sister of Bob (Alma) McCann. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Mary McCann. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Visitation for Shirley will take place on Thursday, November 30, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes located at 10915 Allen Road, 48101. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. that day at the funeral home, followed by a procession to Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery for committal prayers and entombment.
