Sylvia A. Woodcroft

Sylvia Ann Woodcroft. Age 84 of Riverview, formerly of Rockwood, passed away peacefully March 16, 2021 at her home. She was born April 21, 1936 in Monroe, MI. She was the daughter of Olaf and Hazel (Gonyea) Barrow. Sylvia married the love of her life Joseph Woodcroft August 11, 1956 at St. Mary of the Annunciation Catholic Church in Rockwood, where she was a lifelong member. She was employed by Old Kent Bank for over 30 years. Sylvia loved to travel and kept busy spending time with her family. Her favorite activities were bowling, playing bunco and bingo. Sylvia is survived by her son Gregory (Patricia) Woodcroft, granddaughters Ellen (Erik) Hildebrand, Emily (Paul) Hughes and Amy (Rodney) Fater, 8 great grandchildren and brothers Garry Barrow and Dennis (Kathy) Barrow. Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents Olaf and Hazel Barrow, husband Joseph Woodcroft, sister Genevieve (Vincent) Golman and sister-in-law Barbara Barrow. Visitation will take place Thursday, March 18, 2021 from 5-8 PM at The Ford Chapel – Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 23620 N. Huron River Dr., Rockwood. Mass of Christian Burial will take place Friday, March 19, 2021 at St. Mary of the Annunciation Catholic Church, Rockwood. Sylvia will lie instate at the church from 10 AM until the funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment will take place at Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery.
