Sgt. Adam J. Amrozi, born on January 22, 1974, left this world on July 19, 2026, leaving behind a legacy marked by dedication, compassion, and a deep commitment to the service of others.

Adam’s life was rooted in steadfast devotion to both his loved ones and his community. As a Firefighter-Paramedic with the Lincoln Park Fire Department, and previously as a firefighter with the Riverview Fire Department, Adam’s dedication to public safety was evident to all who knew him. He served with courage, humility, and a tireless work ethic, always ready to respond to the call for help in moments of crisis. Adam’s colleagues not only recognized him for his technical skill and bravery but also for his generous heart—he was known to do everything for anybody at any time, embodying the true spirit of service.

Beyond his professional life, Adam touched those around him with warmth and joy. At the fire department, he was affectionately called “chef” by his fellow firefighters, who eagerly anticipated his meals. Cooking became his way of bringing people together, infusing the station with camaraderie and comfort.

A proud alumnus of Trenton High School, Adam’s athletic accomplishments were a source of lasting pride. He played both football and hockey, and in 1991, he and his hockey team celebrated a cherished victory, winning the state championship. This achievement spoke to his dedication, teamwork, and pursuit of excellence—qualities that would define every chapter of his life.

Adam’s most cherished roles were those of husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He is survived by his beloved wife, Sara Boritzki-Amrozi, and their daughter, Genesis Amrozi, who were at the heart of his world. He is also mourned by his sister, Lisa (Jeff) Jacobs; his parents, John and Michelle Amrozi; his father-in-law, Tom (late Linda) Boritzki; and his brother-in-law, Tom (Stefanie) Boritzki. Their lives have been forever shaped by Adam’s love, support, and kindness.

To honor Adam’s memory and legacy, visitation will be held on July 24, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM at The Trenton Chapel – Martenson Family Of Funeral Homes, located at 3200 West Rd, Trenton, MI 48183. That same evening, at 7:00 PM, a Firefighter and Family Sharing Service will take place at the same location. Adam J. Amrozi’s life, though cut short, was lived with extraordinary generosity and heart. His enduring impact will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.
