Alice Gay Harold Crispino, age 70 of South Rockwood, passed away Friday, March 5, 2021 in her home. Born January 2, 1951 in Marietta, Ohio, Alice was the daughter of Forest and Ruth (Charlton) Harold. A graduate of Airport High School, she married the love of her life, John Crispino, in 1979. Sadly he preceded her in death in 1998. Alice worked as a Dietician at Beaumont Trenton Hospital for 20 years, retiring in 2016. She also owned and operated the Mr. Minnow Bait Shop with her husband. Alice enjoyed Bingo, crafting, painting, knitting, sewing and going to garage sales with her cousin Judy. Alice also made and donated afghans and blankets for nursing homes and during the current pandemic, she had made and donated hundreds of masks for local schools. Alice leaves to cherish her memory a step daughter Christy Crispino; siblings: Steven (Willene) Harold, Dennis (Diane) Harold and Forest (Janet) Harold; a granddaughter Ashley (Jake) Nauracy; two great grandchildren: Julianna Nauracy and Jax Nauracy; as well as several nieces and nephews and her four-legged companion Scooby. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Hubert Harold and Larry Harold. Burial will be with her husband at Riverside Cemetery in South Rockwood. Memorial contributions in honor of Alice may be made to the Humane Society of Monroe County.
