Ann Gilbert

Born in Monroe, Ann was the daughter of Elijah & Milka (Vujakovich) Kovencih. She married Ralph Gilbert in 1973. Sadly he preceded her in death August of 1986. A dedicated homemaker, Ann loved going to the casino and playing instant lottery tickets. She also enjoyed reading and playing word search puzzles. Ann leaves to cherish her memory her children: Mary Ann Kowal of Monroe, Mildred Lea Jennings of Monroe, Michele (Gordie) McCarty of Newport and Stephanie (Don) Wagner of Schererville, Indiana; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; as well as a sister Mary (Savo) Knezevich of Monroe and a brother George (Kay) Kovenich of Oakland, California. In addition to her husband and parents, Ann was preceded in death by a son Robert Price; and two brothers: Mike Kovenich and Steve Kovenich. In accordance with Ann's wishes, cremation is being held. Memorial contributions in Ann's honor may be made to Mercy-Memorial Hospice.
