Antonietta DiTosto, born on April 27, 1934, in Bagnoli Del Trigno, Italy, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2025, in Allen Park, Michigan. Her life was a tapestry of love, family, and cherished memories, and she leaves behind a legacy that will endure in the hearts of her loved ones.
Antonietta was a devoted mother to her children, Maria (Frank) Dalaney and Paul (Patricia) DiTosto. She took immense pride in her role as a grandmother to her grandchildren, Tracy (Don) Tetreault, Shelley (Joe) Ferrier, Teresa, and Anna, who is engaged to Shane Frietag. Antonietta was especially delighted to be a great-grandmother to William Boda, Giovanni Baiocco, Mario Baiocco, Luca Baiocco, and Edwin Frietag, who brought her endless joy and laughter.
Antonietta also shared a special bond with her sisters, Aida Salina and Levia Lazazzera, and is remembered through many nieces, nephews, and other loving family members who cherished her warmth and kindness.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Pietro, who stood by her side through life’s journey. Antonietta is also reunited with her sister, Rosina Donofrio, her brother, Antonio Mastrodonato, and her parents, Silvio and Annina Mastrodonato, all of whom held a special place in her heart.
A visitation will be held on August 21, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at The Allen Park Chapel - Martenson Family Of Funeral Homes, followed by a Rosary service at 6:30 PM. The following day, August 22, there will be another viewing at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church from 9:30 AM until 10:00 AM, culminating with a Mass at 10:00 AM. Antonietta will be laid to rest at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield, Michigan.
As we remember Antonietta, we honor a life filled with compassion, familial devotion, and unyielding spirit. Her legacy will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.
