Barbara L. Boudrie, passed away at her daughter Lori’s home in Monroe, MI on December 11, 2025 at the age of 87. She was the daughter of James and Marcella Nadeau. A 1956 graduate of St. Mary Academy; Barbara married the love of her life Robert E. Boudrie on June 25, 1960.
Over the years she volunteered at St. Anne’s School and Triumph Academy; she was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church, Loyal Order of Women of the Moose and Frenchtown Senior Citizens Center. Barbara’s love in life was spending time with her family; she also loved playing bingo, bunko, reading, knitting, and gardening.
In her younger years she was employed at Time Container, Monroe Public Schools, and the Monroe Credit Bureau.
Barbara leaves behind two daughters: Lori (Spencer) Reeves and Lisa (Paul) Cooley, ten grandchildren: Stephen, Kellie, Holli, Donnie, Nikkole, Dylan, Jacob, Hillary, Samantha, and Craig, nine great grandchildren: Bela, Tyler, Avery, Parker, Jaxon, Christian, Cillian, Callum, Barrett, and Hattie along with seven step grandchildren and twelve step great and great great grandchildren. Barbara is also expecting a great great grandson, Easton this month. She also leaves her sister Marilyn (John) Hess.
Sadly, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert E; her son, Robert L., and her daughter Maryann.
Visitation is on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 from 2 pm until the time of the Funeral Service on Tuesday at 5:30 pm both at The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes-Allore Chapel, 203 E. Elm, Monroe. Memorial contributions to honor her life may be made to AccentCare Hospice-Greater Detroit.
