Watkins, Barbara J. was born on January 21, 1950 in Detroit, Michigan and passed away on April 30, 2025 in Dearborn, Michigan at the age of 75; she was of Dearborn Heights. Beloved mother of James (Ashley) Mikalacki and Jodi Palmer (Edward Safadi). Proud grandma to Joshua, Emily, Sebastian, Edison, Molly, Zachary, and Jace. Only child of the late James Edward Watkins and June Sousa. Preceded in death by her former spouse John G. Mikalacki. Also survived by other loving family and friends. She will be missed by her Morkie, Lil Bit.

Barbara was a graduate of Western High School in Detroit and was retired from Ace Doran Trucking. Her family was her love in life especially her grandchildren; she was very proud of her family. She enjoyed going on cruises and league bowling. Barbara was an avid Barbie and Beanie Babies collector.
