Basil Barno, age 94, passed away on June 13, 2025. He was proceeded in death by his father (William), mother (Helen) and sister, Margie. He is survived by his wife, Mary, sons, Michael and Tim (Terri), and grandchildren, Melanie and Matthew. He was born in Edwardsville, PA, attended Drexel University in Philadelphia, where he achieved All-American Honors in lacrosse. Following college, he had a very long and successful career at Ford Motor Co. in Finance. He was a devoted husband of 69 years as him and Mary raised a family, traveled the world, and especially enjoyed their winters in Destin, FL. He was a loving father to his two sons, and always had time for 9 holes of golf or building the outdoor ice rink in the family yard. He took pride in being involved with his grandchildren, whether it was a dance recital or a hockey game… he was there. His strongest passion in life was singing in the church choir, he never got tired of singing his Russian church music. His kindness, wisdom, and quiet strength will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

The interment at Parkview Cemetery is private.
