Betty Rae Jennings

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Betty “Bunny” Jennings, who was called upon by the lord on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at the age of 72 surrounded by her loved ones. Born July 29th, 1953 in Monroe, Betty was a woman of great strength, boundless love and unwavering grace. She spent her life sharing wisdom, enjoying the company of family and bringing warmth to every room she entered. Betty is survived by her sons: Jody (Brenda) Ball, Darrell (Tasha) Jennings and Allen (Dana Wood) Jennings; as well as 5 grandchildren Jenna (Jesse) Braden, Destiney Jennings, Raylynn (Austin) Arcabascio, Allen Jennings “Bubba”, Desmariah Jennings and 7 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, who will continue to cherish her memory. Sadly she was preceded in death by daughter “Half pint” Carrie Jennings, her parents and 7 siblings, whom she loved dearly.

Betty had a passion for word searches, playing cards, fishing and enjoying life to the fullest. She was a devoted fan of WWE. She was known for her strong opinions, amazing sense of humor, fearless tenacity and her love for her family.
