Beverly Ann Byrd

Born in Trenton, Beverly was the daughter of Paul & Mabel (Longhway) Laginess. She attended Freck School in East Rockwood where her teacher was Oscar A. Carlson. From there Beverly went on to Trenton High School. She spent the remainder of her life as a dedicated homemaker. A past member of the Rockwood Moose, Rockwood Historical Society and the East Rockwood Sportsman Club, Beverly was a lifelong member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Rockwood. Beverly leaves to cherish her memory a son Paul (Cheryl) Byrd of East Rockwood; granddaughter Sabrina Byrd; her sister Florentine Goniea and niece Karen Beasley both of Bartonville, Illinois; a great niece Janet Terteling of New York as well as numerous cousins. Sadly she was preceded in death by her parents; and Orville J. Byrd (They were married in 1948 but divorced in 1972. They Later became close friends and Beverly considered him the only "true love of her life"). Beverly will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
