Bill Singer

Bill Singer, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, died on September 10, 2026, at the age of 67. Born on September 6, 1959, Bill lived a life shaped by devotion to his family, steady work, and the pursuits he loved most.

Bill dedicated 25 years of his career to the City of Riverview Golf Course. His long service reflected a strong work ethic and a quiet dependability that left a lasting impression on those around him.

Outside of work, Bill found great joy in the things that brought him closer to nature and to the people he loved. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and he was a collector of Randall Made Knives. He also had a passion for photography of all sorts, capturing the world through his own perspective. Above all, Bill treasured spending time with his family and enjoyed many meaningful moments at Fourmile Lake in Dexter.

Bill is survived by his wife, Kathleen Singer; his daughter, Heather (Kevin) Rutherford; and her children, Jase, Hunter, and Olivia Rutherford, who were a cherished part of his life as his grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Sue (John) Schiller, and her sons, Jason and Michael Schiller. The love of his family was central to his life, and his memory will remain close to all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Evelyn Singer.

Visitation will be held on September 13, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at The Trenton Chapel - Martenson Family Of Funeral Homes, 3200 West Rd, Trenton, MI 48183. A funeral service will take place on September 14, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at The Trenton Chapel - Martenson Family Of Funeral Homes.

Bill will be remembered for his love of family, his appreciation for the outdoors, and the many ways he filled his life with purpose and enjoyment. His presence will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
