Brenda Bailey, born on August 12, 1954, passed away peacefully at home on August 3, 2026, under hospice care. Brenda’s warmth and steadfast love for her family enriched every space she occupied, leaving behind cherished memories for those who knew and loved her.

Brenda’s devotion to her family was evident in every stage of her life. She is survived by her beloved son, Robert (Erika) Bailey, who was a constant source of pride and joy. Her loving sister, Linda (Bill) Daly, and brother, John (Mary) Fernandez. Brenda’s two granddaughters, Madalyn and Joanna Bailey, were the lights of her life—she treasured every moment with Mads and Jo, finding happiness in their achievements and the simple joys of baking, Bible studies, and watching them shine on stage. Brenda was also a loving "Aunt B" to numerous nieces and nephews whose lives she touched deeply.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, John and Marie Fernandez. Their influence and love shaped Brenda's caring spirit, qualities she in turn shared generously with the generations that followed.

Professionally, Brenda spent many years as a banker at Dearborn Federal Savings Bank, where her warmth, dedication, and professionalism left a lasting mark. Her colleagues and clients respected her not only for her work ethic but for her genuine kindness and willingness to lend a helping hand.

Outside of her career, Brenda’s happiness was rooted in the simple pleasures of life. She loved camping adventures, the calming shores of Lake Michigan, and following Tom Brady’s celebrated football career. Attending church with her family filled her with purpose and connection, and she cherished any opportunity to gather with friends and loved ones.

As her health declined, she adapted to new ways of connecting, finding delight in games like Monopoly on her phone, which allowed her to stay close to her family through playfulness and gentle teasing. Even when physical activities became a challenge, she remained an active and much-loved presence in the lives of her family and friends.

A Memorial Gathering in Brenda’s honor will be held on August 12, 2026, from 5:00 PM until time of Service 7:00 PM, at The Trenton Chapel - Martenson Family Of Funeral Homes, located at 3200 West Rd, Trenton, MI 48183.  All who knew Brenda and wish to celebrate her life and legacy are welcome to attend.

Brenda Bailey’s kindness, joy, and unwavering dedication to her family will live on in the memories of all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed, yet always remembered.
