Brendan David Siddall, a radiant soul whose spirit touched the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know him, passed away on June 21, 2025, in Chicago, Illinois at the age of 26. Born on February 12, 1999, Brendan was many things to many people—an accomplished actor, singer, and musician; a proud supporter of the LGBTQ community; and a cherished member of his family and friends.
Brendan's presence was larger than life, imbuing every room he entered with joy, laughter, and an unwavering positivity. He was a steadfast advocate for “good vibes only,” inspiring those around him to embrace the beauty and richness of life. As the proud President of Member Retention and Recognition of the Chicago Gay Men's Chorus, Brendan used his talents and passion for music to create a sense of belonging and acceptance in his community. His contributions resonated deeply, bringing people together through shared love and artistic expression.
He will be remembered not only for his accomplishments but also for his compassionate nature and his ability to uplift others. Brendan was a light that shone brightly, illuminating the paths of those who knew him. His vibrant spirit and unwavering dedication to positivity will continue to inspire, reminding us all of the power of kindness and love.
Brendan leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory: his devoted parents, David and Jacqui Siddall; his brother, Chase (Rachel) Siddall; his grandfather, Al J. Makarewicz; his maternal uncle and aunt Alex (Melissa) and Jill Makarewicz and his paternal aunt and uncles Karen, Philip & Peter Siddall. He was lovingly preceded in death by his grandmother, Patty Makarewicz, and his grandparents, George and LaVerne Siddall.
A memorial gathering to celebrate Brendan’s life will be held on June 28, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., followed by the memorial service beginning at 6:00 p.m. at The Allen Park Chapel - Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, located at 10915 Allen Rd, Allen Park, MI, 48101.
As we gather to honor the beautiful life of Brendan Siddall, may we carry forward his legacy of joy, acceptance, and compassion, and may his spirit continue to shine brightly in our hearts.
