Brian Marschner

Brian Marschner, born February 14, 1962, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2025. Brian was deeply loved, and his life leaves behind a lasting imprint on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Brian is survived by his devoted wife, Dawn Marschner, whose steadfast love and partnership meant the world to him. He was a proud and caring father to his sons, Gregg (Renee) Marschner and Travis (Amy) Marschner. One of Brian’s greatest joys was being “Papa” to Bennett, Ava, and Lucas, who brought light, laughter, and purpose to his days.

He was born to Hal and Nancy Marschner, who preceded him in death. Brian was the stepson of Julie Marschner and the beloved brother of Steve, Kevin, Leslie, Carol, and Jess.

Brian dedicated many years of his life to serving his country and retired from the United States Navy—a reflection of his strength, loyalty, and commitment to something greater than himself. Outside of service, Brian found peace in the outdoors. He loved golfing, fishing, and hunting, and those moments—quiet, simple, and full of meaning—were where he felt most at home.

Brian will be missed more than words can express, but his love, his character, and the memories he created will continue to live on through his family and all who loved him.

A memorial gathering to honor Brian’s life will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at The Allen Park Chapel – Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, located at 10915 Allen Rd, Allen Park, MI 48101.
