Bruce Reed Nelson

Bruce Reed Nelson was born on March 21, 1956 in Wyandotte, Michigan and died on September 30, 2018 at the age of 62; he was a resident of Grosse Pointe Park and was formerly of Lincoln Park. Beloved son of the late Alexander and the late Kathleen (nee: Wood) Nelson. Cherished brother of the late Mark, Laura (Robert) Sugarbaker and Eric. Dearest uncle of Nanette (Mark) Wiseman, Michael Marcelli, Jared Marcelli and Alexandria (Struever) McConnell and great uncle of Andrew, Madison and McKenna Wiseman and Jet Marcelli. Also survived by other loving family and many many friends. Bruce proudly served his Country for over 25 years in the United State Air Force. Visitation is on Thursday, October 4, 2018 from 2 – 8 pm at The Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd. (Corner of Goddard). The funeral service will be at the funeral home on Friday, October 5, 2018 at 10 am. Private interment will be at Roseland Park Cemetery in Berkley.
