Carmela Dohring

Carmela was born on September 17, 1942 in Detroit, MI and went home to Heaven at the age of 74 on May 2, 2017; she was of Riverview. Beloved wife of 54 years to Richard. Loving mom of Mark, Lisa (Kevin) Arndt, Matt (Tammy) and Jason (Michaela) and to Michelle (Tracey) Sampson. Proud gma, nona and grandma of Kayla (Kelvin), Justin, Clarissa, Alex, Angelina, Matthew, Johanna, Bethany, Jayla, Courtney and Joshua. Great grandma of Richard, Ayden, Kattelaya, Mia and Kazzmynn. Also survived by other loving family and friends. Preceded in death by her parents Francesco and Mariannina (nee: Rocco) Capezzuto, one brother Pat and three sisters Margaret, Yolanda and Helen. Carmela was retired from DTE Energy and she was a long-time faithful member of the Faith Bible Presbyterian Church. She cherished her family and they were her love in life; Carmela prayed for each of them faithfully and wanted only the best for each of them. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Visitation is on Saturday from 3 pm until the time of the service at 6 pm all at the Faith Bible Presbyterian Church, Trenton. The interment will be private at Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions to honor Carmela's life may be made to Gideons International. Anyone choosing to send flowers should request their florist to deliver directly to the Church on Saturday after 10 am.
