Carol A Lang

1940 - 2025

Carol was born at home in Wyandotte, Michigan February 8th, 1940. After 85 blessed years, she passed peacefully in the early hours, on Friday May 2nd, 2025.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband Roger Lang and her sister Shirley Peterson. Her 3 adoring sons, Kerry Lang (Erica Lang), Kevin Lang (Tammy Lang), and Kurt Lang (Chris Plummer). Four grandchildren she loved beyond comprehension, Elizabeth Cole (Karl Cole), Robert Lang (Nickie Lang), Devin Lang (Nikki Birch) and Brendin Lang. Carol was also blessed with 3 Great Granddaughters, Maisie Lang, Amy Cole and Zora Shomsky.

Carol and Roger were married September 3rd 1960 at St Alfred’s Church in Taylor, Michigan. They built a beautiful life and family over 64 phenomenal years. Carol volunteered at school when her boys were young, as the hot dog lady! She was very crafty and enjoyed creating (Carol was a wonderful hairdresser for years), as well as enjoying the arts, particularly music. She spent hours outside tending to her yard, and then enjoying the fruits of her labor. She also enjoyed the outdoors with her family, always having a fun activity. Their family spent many days at their cottage in Harrison on Cranberry lake, with special trips to the Amish Bakery in Clare. Carol was an avid bird lover, with a special place in her heart for the Black-Capped Chickedees. Above all else, she had a great and deep love for her family. Carol’s bright smile and even brighter spirit touched the lives of so many and will never EVER be forgotten.
