Carol Rae Waldroup

Carol Rae Waldroup, age 64 of Lincoln Park, passed away June 15, 2025.

Born February 2, 1961 in Pontiac, Michigan, Carol was the daughter of Alanzo and Estella (Wood) Manns. She married the love of her life, David Waldroup, who sadly preceded her in death February 15, 2011. A dedicated homemaker, Carol also worked for Hancock Enterprises for over 15 years. An avid Rolling Stones fan, she also enjoyed cooking and watching religious television shows, but her most treasured times were those spent with her family.

Carol leaves to cherish her memory 4 children: David Richter, Davina (Keith) Garret, Amber (Tom) Stokes and Robert (Kathleen) Kolakowski; as well as 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; 2 sisters and a brother. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by 2 children: Ronnie Nyitray and Richard Brighton; and her parents Estella and Wilbert Richter and Alanzo Manns.

In accordance with Carol’s wishes, cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes-Allore Chapel.
