Caroline Josephine Grasso passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by loved ones at the age of 94. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She is survived by her devoted husband of 75 years, Vincent Joseph Grasso, and her three sons, Vincent Grasso (Barbara), Thomas Grasso, and David Grasso (Sheila). She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Vincent, Joshua, Gregory, Jeffrey, Megan, Brittany, Kara, David and her 13 beloved great-grandchildren who gave her so much joy.
Caroline will be remembered as a woman of deep faith and generosity. She spent 20 years teaching Bible study and catechism. Her influence reached far beyond the classroom, touching the lives of all who knew her.
She was a dedicated crafter, creating unique pieces from hand crafted jewelry to sewing anything her creative mind could think of. One of her favorites being handmade notebooks that she enjoyed passing out to anyone that crossed her path. She had a true love for making afghans. If you knew her, chances are she made one for you. Each one carried a little bit of her heart, kindness, and warmth. They have became treasured reminders of the care she always put into everything she did.
Her marriage to Vincent was a testament of loyalty and enduring love, a partnership that lasted for more than seven decades. The strength of their bond was one of the most meaningful parts of both of their lives.
Caroline had a contagious sense of humor. She passed that onto each generation creating rooms full of laughter and smiles when she was with you. Her kindness, creativity, and sense of humor will be loved forever, missed dearly and remembered warmly by everyone who had the chance to know her.
