Catherine Elizabeth Ashlin

Born in Wyandotte, Catherine was the daughter of Richard and Joan (Loniewski) Weidman. A high school graduate, she continued her education to earn a Bachelor of Nursing degree. Catherine married the love of her life, Michael Ashlin, on August 26, 1977.

Catherine worked as a Registered Nurse at Southshore Hospital for over 41 years. She was a faithful member of Our Lady of the Scapular Catholic Church in Wyandotte. Catherine enjoyed spending time outdoors gardening, but her most treasured times were those spent with her family.

Catherine leaves to cherish her memory, Michael, her husband of the past 48 years; children: Kyle (Paula) Ashlin and Matthew (Raquel) Ashlin; three grandchildren: Konnor, Carson and Kenleigh; her mother Joan Weidman; a brother Michael Weidman and an aunt Gloria Castor. Sadly she was preceded in death by her father.
