Charles Andrew Brant passed away peacefully on November 17, 2025, at the age of 90. Born January 8, 1935, Charles was the son of Frank and Martha (Richmire) Brant. He lived a life full of hard work, love, and compassion, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew him. He married the love of his life, Mary Jean Lozon on February 19, 1966. Sadly she preceded him in death September 19, 2025
A graduate of Monroe High School, Charles carried the values learned in his youth throughout his life. His career as a mechanic was not just a job, but a passion that he embraced fully, finding joy in the intricate workings of machines and the smiles of those he helped along the way. He had worked at Brant's Garage and retired from Carron and Company. Charles was not only a skilled craftsman but also a man with a heart that overflowed with kindness for others. He faithfully served our country in the United States Army from October 10, 1957 until October 1, 1959. Charles enjoyed working on cars, Ham Radio, and taking care of his home.
Though he faced the sorrow of losing his wife. Charles’ spirit was always supported by his loving wife, Mary. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with cherished memories and a family that grew under their care. Charles was especially proud of his daughter Ann Marie Brant, as well as eight grandchildren, a testament to the enduring legacy of love he established. This legacy is further enriched with the exciting news of one grandchild on the way, a bright reminder of life’s continuance.
In addition to his parents, his son Robert and his wife Mary, Charles was also preceded in death by his siblings: Carl Brant, Jim Brant, Clinton Brant, Margaret, Dorothy, and Jack Biccum. Their memories and shared experiences were a significant part of his life, shaping the wonderful person he became.
Charles Andrew Brant will be dearly missed but will forever remain alive in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those who were fortunate enough to have known him. His kind spirit and unwavering dedication to his loved ones will continue to inspire and comfort those left behind.
