Charles "Chip" William Sabadash, Jr.

Charles "Chip" William Sabadash, Jr., a man whose life was defined by his passion for building and the love of his family, passed away on November 10, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on November 25, 1942, Chip grew up in Allen Park, where he developed a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, inspired by the time he spent working alongside his father.

Chip proudly served in the United States Army, a time during which he met his beloved wife, Brigitte, while stationed in Germany. Their love story began in April 1965 and they exchanged vows in 1966, embarking on a journey filled with unwavering support and dedication to one another.

Throughout his life, Chip's commitment to family was unmatched. He is survived by his loving wife, Brigitte, and their two children: Charles "Chip" William III (Suzanne) Sabadash and Erika Meadows. His legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren, Charles "Chase" William Sabadash IV, Grant Sabadash, Andrew Sabadash, and Dane Meadows, who were a source of immense pride and joy for him.

In addition to his immediate family, Chip is remembered fondly by his sister, Phillipa, and her husband, William Matakas, along with many cousins and other nieces and nephews who will carry his memory forward.

Chip was not only devoted to his family but also to his community, dedicating time to volunteer with the Rotary Club, reflecting his belief in giving back to those around him. His giving spirit, love of building, and willingness to help others have left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles "Charlie" William, Sr. and Rose Sabadash, who were instrumental in shaping his values and work ethic.

Charles "Chip" William Sabadash, Jr. will be deeply missed by his family and friends, whose lives he touched with kindness, generosity, and love. His legacy will live on through the many memories and lessons he imparted to those he cherished.
