Cheryl Harrison, born on March 6, 1954, in Detroit, Michigan, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2026, in Livonia, Michigan. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Cheryl dedicated over 40 years of her life to Ford Motor Company, where she was known for her unwavering commitment and tireless work ethic. Her colleagues appreciated her professionalism and the positive energy she brought to the workplace.
Beyond her career, Cheryl had a profound love for animals, particularly horses. Throughout her life, she embraced her passion for equine companionship, finding joy and fulfillment in the bond between humans and horses. Her love for animals reflected her kind and nurturing spirit.
Cheryl is survived by her sister, Judy (Larry) Walker; her niece, Jamie (Scott) Stewart; her nephew, Aaron (Christyna) Walker; her great-niece, Jalyn Stewart; and her great-nephews, Jackson Walker and Jacob Walker. Additionally, she leaves behind many loving friends who cherished her company and spirit.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, John and Eleanor Harrison, who instilled in her the values that guided her throughout her life.
Visitation will be held on January 15, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at The Allen Park Chapel - Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, located at 10915 Allen Rd, Allen Park, MI 48101. A funeral service will follow on Friday January 16, 2026, beginning at 10:00 AM at the same location.
As we remember Cheryl, we celebrate not only her remarkable career but also the warmth and love she shared with her family and friends. Her legacy will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.
