Christopher Scott Colucci, affectionately known to many as Chris, passed away on May 16, 2026, in his hometown of Wyandotte, Michigan. Born on December 22, 1984, in Wyandotte, Chris’s life was a testament to joy, community, and heartfelt dedication.

Chris was much more than a beloved son and cherished friend—he was an enthusiastic participant in the Special Olympics, where he showcased his talents in golf, bowling, and bocce ball. His involvement in these sports brought him joy and a sense of camaraderie, reflecting his vibrant spirit and determination. Beyond his athletic pursuits, Chris was an avid fisherman, finding peace and happiness in the quiet moments by the water’s edge.

A valued member of ARC Downriver and the Downriver Panthers, Chris’s commitment to community extended beyond his hobbies. He was a devoted volunteer at the Wyandotte Henry Ford Hospital, where he generously contributed his time at the Information Desk, always ready to assist visitors with a warm smile. Chris’s love for dogs and animals was well known among those who knew him, further emphasizing his compassionate and gentle nature.

Chris is survived by his loving parents, John and Pat Colucci, who stood by him with unwavering support and affection. He is also remembered fondly by his aunt Nancy; his cousins Lisa, David, Derrick, Craig, and Jessica; and countless friends whose lives were touched by his kindness and cheerful disposition.

He is predeceased by his grandparents John and Sandra Neil, and John and Mary Colucci, whose legacies live on through the family they nurtured. Also remembering with respect are his Aunt Charlotte and Uncle Charlie, as well as Aunt Karen and Uncle Buzz, whose memories remain a treasured part of Chris’s story.

Visitation to honor Chris’s memory will be held on May 20, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at The Trenton Chapel - Martenson Family Of Funeral Homes, located at 3200 West Rd, Trenton, MI. The community will gather to celebrate his life with a service beginning at 9:30 a.m. on May 21, 2026, at St. Vincent Pallotti Parish at St. Joseph Church, 344 Elm Street, Wyandotte. A Mass will follow at 10:00 a.m.

Chris Colucci’s life was one of warmth, perseverance, and community spirit. While his passing leaves a profound sense of loss, the memories of his laughter, generosity, and zest for life will endure in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered. May he rest in peace.
