Ciapha Lafayette-Gant Reeves

Ciapha Lafayette-Gant Reeves was born to the late Sr. Pastor Charles K. Reeves and Helen C. Jackson-Reeves on August 2, 1968 in Liberia, West Africa. Shortly after the demise of parents Emmanuel N. Reeves, Sr. (Uncle) and Serena B. Jackson-Reeves (Auntie) assumed the role of parents. Ciapha went home to be with the Lord on December 25, 2017. Beloved husband of Wilma Jean Reeves for 30 years. Loving father of Owen, LuCretia, and Ciapha, Jr. (Ashlee). Cherished Papa of Ayanna, Owen, Kawame, Sean, Nasr, Tatiana, Ciapha the III, and Camden. Dear brother of Elder. Bindu M. Reeves-Mfinanga (Issick), Charles K. Reeves the III (Patricia), and Meatta E.N. Reeves. Proud mentor/uncle of SSG Charles B. Dean (Jessica) and Mabelene. Ciapha is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Ciapha was an amazing husband (hubby), father, teacher, and friend. He was kind hearted; always willing to help anybody who needed it. You could always find him watching either the news or a Western. He loved talking about and making fun of politics.
