Clarence "Larry" Marcoux

Beloved husband of the late Elsie. Loving father of Susan (Vaughn) Rowe, Ann (Mark) Regan, Michael, Paul (Gale), Michelle Veino, Joseph (Linda), Jeffery (Cherri), the late David and the late Edward. Dearest grandfather of 12 and great-grandfather of 5. Dear brother of Betty Sharkey. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Larry grew up in Saginaw Michigan. He graduated from St. Andrew's High School and then joined the Army serving in the European Theater during World War II. Upon returning from the service he met and married Elsie Hach. Eventually he earned an undergraduate degree from Michigan State and later a Masters degree in Community Banking from the University of Wisconsin. Larry moved to Midland, MI where he worked for Midland National Bank, eventually serving as its President. In 1975 he moved to Trenton, MI to work with Trenton State Bank (eventually Security Bank) as its President until 1989. After his retirement from the Bank Larry and a buddy started a small commercial real estate business. He was always active in his community but he had a special affection for the Kiwanis Club, St. Joseph's Church and the Grosse Ile Country Club . In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Detroit Cristo Rey Catholic High School in SW Detroit, Henry Ford Hospice or Penrickton Center for Blind Children.
