Claris Joy Young

Born in Albion, Australia, Claris was the daughter of Lester and Jesse (Caldwell) Woodforth. She married the love of her life, Harold Young, August 4, 1949. Sadly he preceded her in death in 1988. A dedicated homemaker, Claris was a member of the Carleton Church of God. She enjoyed crafts and reading the bible, but her most treasured times were those spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. Claris leaves to cherish her memory her children: Robert (Yolanda) DeLaVega, June Males, Gary (Maureen) Young, Mary (Robert) Vecchiato and Peggy (Dan) Neeriemer; as well as 14 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters: Norma and June.
