Connie (Breil) Bennett

Connie Jane (Breil) Bennett, born February 16, 1954 in Trenton, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2022 with her loving husband and son by her side.

Connie grew up in Riverview, Michigan with her loving parents Richard and Betty Breil, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Bennett was a social worker for the State of Michigan for over 30 years. However, her true calling was being an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. She loved spending time playing with her beloved grandchildren, vacationing at Houghton Lake and reading books. The most precious gift Connie gave her family was her time, such as caring for her grandchildren, creating the best games for the annual family reunion at Houghton Lake, being an excellent “Mrs. Fix-It” for the house, being on call for Grandma Pat’s computer issues, and assisting with all of the many family events. Connie was a person who wanted to help everyone.

Connie leaves to cherish her precious memory her husband of 35 years, Lawrence William Bennett, son, Brett (Katie) Bennett, grandchildren, Charlie and Lexie, brothers, Jack (Lynne), Randy (Paula) and Ted (Marsha).

Visitation will be held at The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes - Ridge Chapel, 2272 West Jefferson, Trenton, on Tuesday October 25, from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Wednesday October 26, 2022 from 9:00 am until 10:00 am. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10:00 am.
