Danny White passed away on September 11, 2026, at the age of 81. He was born on April 20, 1945, in Owosso, Michigan.
Danny will be remembered as a man of many interests and steady talents. He proudly served in the United States Army. He loved aviation and was a pilot, a passion that reflected both his sense of adventure and his skill. He also enjoyed antique tractors and fishing. To those who knew him best, Danny was truly a “Mr. Fix It,” someone who could be counted on to work with his hands, solve problems, and help others.
Above all, Danny’s life was centered on family. He is survived by his wife, Glenda, and by his sons, Edward (Adalla) and Brian (Michelle). He also leaves behind his granddaughter, Brooke White, and grandson, Zachary White, as well as his great-grandchildren, Luca, Ruby, and Francis. He is also survived by his sister, Joyce (Jim) Bowles, and his brother, Robert (Loretta). Each of them carries forward cherished memories of his love, his strength, and the many ways he made himself present in their lives.
Danny was preceded in death by his father, Herbert, and his mother, Marjorie. He was also preceded in death by his son, Jimmy, his daughter, Laura, his granddaughter, Danielle, and his brother, Richard. Their memories remained an enduring part of his life and story.
Family and friends may gather for visitation on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at The Ford Chapel - Martenson Family Of Funeral Homes, 23620 North Huron River Dr, Rockwood, Michigan 48173. The Funeral Service will follow at 6:00 p.m. at the same location.
Danny White will be remembered with love and gratitude for his service, his interests, his capable spirit, and the devotion he gave to his family. His memory will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
