David M. Bartoszek of Allen Park passed away on June 5, 2025, at the age of 59. He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Margery, his beloved daughters, Molly and Megan, mother Beverly, brother Brett (Lisa), nieces Ashley, Samantha, and Julianna, nephew Mathew, father-in-law Carl Holth, and many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. He is also survived by his two Labrador Retrievers, Buck and Ace. He was preceded in death by his father Gerald Bartoszek and his mother-in-law Molly Holth.
David was an avid outdoorsman, sharing his love for hunting, fishing and rock hunting with his daughters and his friends. He loved to spend summer vacations and weekends up north at the family cottage since he was a child. He enjoyed training Labrador Retrievers and competed successfully with them in field trials and hunt tests for much of his life.
David’s favorite thing was spending time with his family. He was a mentor for the Allen Park High School Robotics Team of which Molly was a member for several years. He coached Megan’s soccer team for several seasons. He was also known for being a great “show dad” at Megan’s horseback riding competitions. He enjoyed taking both of his daughters hunting at his friends’ farms, and fishing on Lake Michigan and Perch Lake. He had a standing lunch date every Friday with his wife, Margery, for the majority of their marriage. David was also a lifelong Red Wings fan and enjoyed going to games with his friends and family.
David worked as a machinist at J & B Precision, Inc., which was started by his father. He worked there for over 40 years, (starting as a child) and took over running the business after his father passed away. He was known for his quality work and dedication to the company.
David was also known for his love of Panera Bread, and could always be seen with a large iced tea in his hand.
