David Howard Lambrix, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and cherished friend, passed away on March 25, 2026, in Monroe, Michigan. Born on March 24, 1943, in Trenton, Michigan, David lived a life marked by unwavering dedication, boundless humor, and an enduring love for family and the game of baseball.
David was a very hard worker who took great pride in owning and operating his own janitorial company, Janitorial Enterprises, Inc.; a testament to his commitment and entrepreneurial spirit. He graduated from Trenton High School and continued his passion for baseball at Bowling Green University and Eastern Michigan University while embracing the value of learning throughout his life.
Known for his quick wit and playful nature, David was a huge jokester, a characteristic that brought laughter and joy to those around him. His family fondly remembers never quite knowing when he was being serious, a charming trait that kept life filled with surprise and delight.
Baseball was more than just a pastime for David; it was a passionate pursuit. An avid baseball fan and player, he was a skilled pitcher in his younger days and dedicated countless hours to coaching all of his children on their baseball teams. His greatest pride came from his seven sons, each of whom he supported wholeheartedly, as well as the many teams he guided with patience and enthusiasm over the years. David was also known as a cornhole champion.
David’s family was at the very heart of his life. He shared nearly 21 years of marriage with his devoted wife, Jeanie Lambrix. David raised five sons: Kevin (Ann) Lambrix, Brendan Lambrix, Jason (Kelli) Lambrix, Aaron (Helen) Lambrix, and Ryan (Lisa) Lambrix. When he and Jeanie married, he added two more bonus sons from their blended union; Bruce Morgan, Jr., and Eric (Roberta) Morgan. David’s love extended warmly to his grandchildren Mason, Zelda, Fiona, Ashley, Zane, Adam, Adeline, Elliot, Bentley, and Ethan, whose lives he touched deeply.
He cherished the support and companionship of his siblings—Lois (the late Jerry) Jbara, Linda (Gary) Vick, and Ann (Rob) Helms. David was preceded in death by his loving parents, Howard and Dorothy Lambrix, and his brother, Bobby (the late Karen) Lambrix.
