Delores Zurawski

Delores Zurawski, born on April 28, 1965, in Westland, Michigan, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2025, in Detroit, Michigan, surrounded by her loving family. Delores was a cherished daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose presence brought joy to all who knew her.

Delores is survived by her devoted husband, John Zurawski, and her three beloved children: Donnie (Kyle) Broome, Michael Broome, and Shannon Benjamin. Her warmth and nurturing spirit will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Dominic Broome, Mia Broome, Marissa Broome, Abeny Broome and Caleb Owens, as well as by her great-grandchildren, Kehlani and Kade Broome.

She is also lovingly remembered by her brothers, Danny (Pamela Johnson) Ray Berryhill and Johnny (Latricia) Muhammad, along with her niece, Rosalind Barley, her nephew, Jonathon Barley and her loving Saza and cat Horatio.

Delores was predeceased by her mother, Rosalind Rosales, her dog Sasha and her cat Stanley.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on August 6, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 6:30 PM, both taking place at The Allen Park Chapel - Martenson Family Of Funeral Homes, located at 10915 Allen Rd, Allen Park, MI 48101.

Delores leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and compassion that will be remembered and cherished by all whose lives she touched.
