Derrick W. Blosser, of Taylor, Michigan, passed away on May 21, 2025, at the age of 50. He was born on September 15, 1974, in Dearborn, Michigan.

He is survived by his loving daughter, Erricka Blosser; his mother, Lynn Blosser; and his father, Gerard Mulka. He is also survived by his grandmother, Edna Blosser; his brother, Philip Blosser; his aunt, Brenda Blosser; and his niece, Brittany Vizachero, along with her two children.

Derrick will be remembered by his family and friends for his love of joy, his hilarity, his strength, and his heart. He could light up a room and make strangers feel like family with ease, a testament to how much he loved his fellow man. Giving someone the shirt off his back was just another day for him, and his kindness often drove him into friendships. His ability to spread joy knew no bounds, and many will probably remember him as the funniest and strongest person they ever knew — including me.

A memorial service to honor his life will be held at Martenson Family of Funeral Homes in Allen Park, Michigan, on Monday June 2, 2025 from 2pm until 9pm with a service at 6pm.
