Diane Mills Goodsite

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Diane Mills Goodsite, a beloved wife ,mother, grandmother, and friend, who departed this life on April 27, 2026. Born on April 17, 1935, in Columbus, Ohio, she was the daughter of Fred and Elizabeth (Byers) Mills II .Diane lived a rich and full life marked by devotion to her family and friends.

She married the love of her life, Bruce Goodsite on August 3, 1957. Sadly he preceded her in death on October 14, 2009. Diane was a dedicated Legal Secretary at the Detroit law firm of Gromek, Bendure and Thomas .Diane was a woman who truly cherished the joy of cooking and entertaining, creating warm and memorable gatherings for loved ones. Her home was often filled with laughter and the irresistible aromas of her culinary delights, making every occasion special and every guest feel treasured.

She leaves behind a loving family who will carry forward her legacy ;her son Robert Goodsite; her daughters Betsy Goodsite and Amy (Thomas) Keeney; her brother Fred (Bibi) Mills III; her granddaughter Holli Oess; and her great-grandchildren Avery and Aiden Oess. Each of them carries a piece of Diane’s spirit and love in their hearts.

In addition to her parents and husband, Diane was preceded in death by her daughter Bridget Huff and her brother Andrew Mills.

Diane’s life was a testament to warmth, dedication, and love. May she rest in peace, embraced by the love she so generously shared.
