Don Comella

Don was born on July 17, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan and died on March 22, 2020 in Southgate at the age of 77; he was from Trenton. Beloved brother of Dennis (Janine) Comella, Anne Marie (Ray) Vernellis, Sue Comella and Mary Jo (Bob) Dauzet. Also survived by his nieces, nephews, other loving family and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Joachim and Andreina (nee: Candelaresi) Comella. Don was the long-time owner of Don’s Barber Shop in Gibraltar; he enjoyed bowling and crossword puzzles. Memorial contributions to honor Don’s life may be made to the American Diabetes Association or Parkinson’s Foundation. Due to the current state of affairs in our world, and to ensure everyone's safety, Don will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date when gatherings are safe. Thank you.
